Qi Gong Class with Yim Yim was first exposed to Tai Chi and Qi Gong in 2001 at Bastyr University where she was pursuing her Master Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. During her years of practicing acupuncture, many patients had asked Yim if there are fun exercises that are both gentle for the body and effective in promoting physical, emotional and mental health. After investigating many kinds of exercises including different forms of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, Yim narrowed her focus to several types of Qi Gong.
Qi Gong is a form of Chinese exercise combining breathing, posture, visualization, meditation, along with slow dance-like movements. It is great for physical, mental, emotional and psychological health.
